Terms of Service
Last updated: July 10, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [Operator legal name — replace before publishing] (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Thiskle web app and the optional Outlook add-in (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
2. Your account
- Provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials confidential.
- Tell us promptly at privacy@thiskle.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You may close your account at any time from Settings → Your data, which permanently deletes your data.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing on others' rights.
- Attempt to break, overload, probe, or circumvent the security of the Service or its rate limits.
- Access other users' data, or use another person's account without permission.
- Scrape, resell, or build a competing service from the Service or its data.
- Upload malware or use the Service to store or transmit illegal content.
4. Your content
The data you put into Thiskle— your tasks, notes, and everything else — is yours. You keep all rights to it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display it back to you (and to people you deliberately share a space or link with) so the Service can function. We don't claim ownership of your content and we don't use it to train any model. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. AI features and third-party services
Optional AI features require your own third-party API key and run under your account with that provider; their terms apply to that use, and you're responsible for any costs they charge. The email-capture tools generate a prompt you run in your own AI tool — you are responsible for what you paste where. Optional integrations (email delivery, weather, push notifications, calendar import/export, the Outlook add-in) rely on third parties, and we aren't responsible for those third parties' availability or actions.
6. Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service, at any time. Thiskleis offered without any guarantee of uptime or that data will never be lost — please keep your own copies of anything critical (you can export your data at any time). We'll try to give reasonable notice of major changes.
7. Suspension and termination
You can stop using and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Where practical and lawful, we'll give notice first.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Thiskle helps you organize your life; it is not a substitute for professional advice. In particular, health, medication, and preventive-care reminders are informational only and are not medical advice — always consult a qualified professional.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your jurisdiction — e.g. England & Wales], and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law gives you other rights.
